Walk where Jesus walked!

Day One

Depart JFK on Swiss Internation flight for Zurich. This is the start of a life-changing experience. Enjoy the onboard meals and entertainment.

Day Two

Arrive in Zurich and change planes for Tel Aviv. Once in Tel Aviv, we will meet our guides who will welcome us to the Holy Land and escort us throughout our stay in Israel. Proceed south to Beer Sheeva. Dinner & overnight in Beer Sheva.

Day Three

Today we start our journey by following in the footsteps of Moses with the Children of Israel in the Negev. Head towards Kadesh Barnea and stop where Moses was stopped in Numbers 20:14. From here we will follow the Zin River to Ein Avdat. Climb up Mount Avnon and then descend From the Akrabim Heights. Overnight at Hotel in Ein Bokek at the Dead Sea. 

Day Four

In the morning, we leave for Ein Gedi Nature Reserve. Continue to Masada. By cable car and foot, we’ll arrive at the Nokdim Village where we will be hosted for a large meal fit for kings at the table of the Patriarch Abraham. We return to the hotel in Ein Bokek. Time for “Swim & Float” in the Dead Sea.

Day Five

Start the day at Qumran on the shores of the Dead Sea. Continue to the Monastery of St. George near the Keret River. From here we’ll continue to “Katzar El Yahud” on the Jordan River. On our way to the Sea of Galilee, we shall visit Beit Shean, one of the Ten Roman Cities where Jesus taught. Overnight near the Sea of Galilee.

Day Six

Start the day from the top of the Arbel which overlooks the settlement of Migdala. Visit Magdala. Continue to the shores of Tabgha, the place of the miracle of the loaves and fish. We shall go to Capernaum and Beit Saida. We end the day, at the setting of the sun, with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Overnight at the Sea of Galilee.

Day Seven

Start the day at Tel Dan. Continue to the Banias (Caesarea of Philippi) and from there to the Golan Heights. Overnight at the Sea of Galilee.

Day Eight

Begin with baptisms in the Jordan River! We continue to see an olive press at Avtalyon in Lower Galilee. This oil is used for anointing kings and the seven-branched candelabra in the Temple. It’s on to Tel Megiddo which provides a magnificent view of the fertile Jezreel Valley, at the crossroads of the ancient Via Maris.

Day Nine

We begin the day on Carmel Mount and onto Caesarea. We shall visit Emmaus, the place where Jesus escorted the two youths who had arisen from the dead. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day Ten

Start with a visit to Yad Vashem, Holocaust memorial. Proceed to the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea scrolls are housed. End the day with a visit to the Model of Jerusalem as it may have been during the time of Jesus. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day Eleven

This morning we visit the Temple Mount and the Western Wall. At the Ophel we stand on the steps which lead the crowd into the area of the Temple Mount. Proceed down through the Western Wall excavations beneath the Wall. Visit St. Ann’s church, Eche Homo Arch and pool of Bethesda. Walk down the Via Delarosa. Walk down the Roman Cardo. Visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day Twelve

Ascend the Mount of Olives where we have a breathtaking view of Jerusalem. Desend the Mount to Gethsemane through the Southern Park to Ir David. We continue to the tunnel which leads to a Spring through which we reach the Room of Joav Ben Zuriah to the City. We arrive at the Siloam Pool which has only recently been discovered. Here Jesus healed the blind man. We visit the Room of the Last Supper and then on to the Garden Tomb.

Day Thirteen

Today, we transfer to the airport. Depart on Lufthansa arriving in Munich. Depart for New York and then home!
